    not horror but... wow!
    horrific for certain.
not many films i've seen in recent years that can give you such a sense
    of despair.
adam sandler actually turns in a great role as a jewish gems dealer who
    is also a hopeless gambler.
his wife hates him, he's in debt to loan sharks and anything that can go
    wrong does.
every time things are on the up he snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. well worth checking out and... the end theme is great too, a classic old
school rave track called l'amour toujours.

    This Adam Sandler??!!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhvLjE8ZWl8

Which is sort of appropriate as we are going to be treated to potentially
one of the greatest Superbowls ever.

Netflix paying Adam Sandler a fortune to make four more movies, and MURDER MYSTERY being the most popular Netflix film of 2019, that's what gives me a sense of despair.

fully understand the sandler hate but in this case it's the directors
you should pay more attention to - the safdie brothers have a great
    track record.

What about producers? I hear those Weinstein bros still have their best
    work ahead of them.

That's been awhile back. I still think Sofia Stewart should have showed-up at the court hearing to have taken those 2 thieves for every penny they had. Fucking plagiary. She basically wrote both THE MATRIX and THE TERMINATOR.
