Hubby & I got into an argument. He was pissed & insulted my family by
calling them secondhand Mafioso, so I replied by telling him to go crawl
back up into his mother's mummified cunt. That triggered a weird/bad
memory of something his father did, so he grabbed me & yelled,"Don't you
talk about my mother!". At that point, I was pissed-off, so I put on a
jacket & went to buy a pack of cigarettes. He felt bad about grabbing me
like that & (stupidly) called the fuzz on himself. When they showed-up,
they informed us that Georgia has a "Domestic Abuse" law, & that if
something even LOOKS like DA they HAVE to arrest someone AND THE "VICTIM" DOESN'T get a say in it (and the whole time I'm saying,"NO! I don't want
him arrested nor charged! It was just a damn argument!".). He spent 4
nights in lock-up before they would process him to allow bail.

On top of our bank-account getting hacked for $93 (we had $50) & putting
us in the hole.. On top of the flu both of us had... On top of losing a
bid to work with John Russo & Russ Steiner to do an audio-drama version
of NOTLD... On top of having to kick our couch-monster out after he
started acting like our household was fucking OZ....
It had been a bad week.

Yet when the guy who lives [lived, he's evicted now] downstairs grabs,
chokes and strikes me for the crime of putting a kitchen light on, the cops show up and do absolutely fucking nothing beyond taking everyone's information.
