    UNSOLD.

That new version of A Christmas Carol was fantastic.

ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP - Very entertaining sequel. The plot isn't up to
much, but the characters work so well together, you can't not enjoy it.
    (8/10)

DOCTOR SLEEP - Wasn't expecting much from this and was put off by its
long running time, but it didn't drag at all and I really liked it.
Although, some of that may have been due to Rebecca Ferguson doing her
Fields Of The Nephilim impression. (8/10)

ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE - British Christmas-themed zombie musical. Gets
credit for originality (and a couple of good songs), but other than that,
it's your standard zombie movie. (7/10)

KLAUS - Delightful animation about Jesper, the spoiled, lazy son of a
wealthy postmaster who is sent by his father to a remote village to
create a postal service. The village is inhabited by two warring clans,
but Jesper may find redemption in the shape of a giant woodsman. (8/10)

The New Christmas Carol was horrible!!

Mrs. Cratchit, as written by Dickens, was a WHITE LADY!!!
The makers of this grim and unredeemable atrocity took way to may liberties with the novella's story and spirit all in rhe name of modern day socio- political "relevance"!!!
I'm waiting for a "Zulu" remake where the two main British Officers are played by Denzel Washington and Will Smith, baby!!

    They made a couple of unnecessary changes from the book (mostly the ending;
the novel's was better) but overall I really enjoyed this one. Very
effective. I definitely want to see the longer director's cut they plan to release on video.

The kids enjoyed this. Maybe check out A CINDERELLA STORY: CHRISTMAS WISH which
    they also enjoyed.
