Quite enjoyed this one, but it was a job to know what was going on. Lots
of flashbacks and jumping in and out of other times/dimensions.

Was hoping it was going to be more like part 2, instead we find Reggie
battling the Tall Man in several different scenarios, none of which may
    even be real.

From what I can gather, it started life as a web series about Reggie encountering the Tall Man in different dimensions, but then they decided
to cobble them all togethor and film some more scenes to try and make
sense of it all. However, we basically end up with a hotch potch of
    different scenarios playing out simultaneously.

Again, I enjoyed it. It had some nice action scenes in it. But it's one
for Phantasm fans only as the casual viewer probably won't know what any
    of its about.

I saw it in the theater. (Alamo Drafthouse, one night showing.). Went over very well with the crowd, who were, to be sure, hardcore phans. Personally
I loved it and found it an emotionally satisfying conclusion to the series.
It is indeed disjointed, and the lack of funds shows harshly at times.
But it's Phantasm; occasional incoherence and low budget seams showing go
    with the territory.

Yeah i struggled with it... Some decent concepts scattered throughout,
    but pretty terribly executed.
