She's written over two dozen books with Rita Golden Gelman, most under the joint pseudonym R.G. Austin.
Not to be confused with the 63-year-old Fort Worth sculptor/painter.
In 1996, she wrote "One April Morning: Children Remember the Oklahoma City Bombing" with illustrator Floyd Cooper.
