Newish doco, found at the usual place. Very enjoyable. It's 80% an
Argento doco, but not just the usual stories. For example i had no idea
the lady in red from TENEBRAE was actually a man. Where have i been? My
whole life has been a lie. Honestly though the whole thing is worth it
for Umberto Lenzi being remarkably humble and modest as usual. Was also
nice in 2016 to hear people (even LADY people) saying 'yes the giallo is
often misogynist, but who cares, they're beautiful'. Also fuelled my
long running and unconfirmed theory that Kim Newman is one of our
regulars...
Anyway, get on it, it's pretty much exactly what you'd want from a
documentary on the genre.
