I watched MARIANNE because of the hype and thought it was crap. The main character (who was definitely not a lesbian) was such a collosal cunt
that it was hard to empathise with her. Even though there was a flimsy
reason for her personality disorder, it didn't help. I also wasn't
impressed with the lame attempts at comedy nor the unconvincing
detective.

OUT, HEREDITARY and most other highly rated recent 'horror', it's horror
for people who don't really like horror.

I would like to thank whoever here made the comment about Toni Collette. She's such an icon in Oz you automatically love her - she's our David Attenborough. It wasn't until someone slagged her off here that I admitted to myself her acting is actually gurning and is very annoying.
