SHIT : Chapter 2 more like.

Trying to keep this spoiler free...

Very slow and, unlike Chapter 1, suffered from the same problems the
    original adaptation had.

Long excessive flashbacks, slow plot and a nonsensicle ending.

The worst thing about the flashbacks is that they were to events that
would have taken place in the first film, yet weren't in the first film.

It was like they cut the first film down for being too long, but didn't
have enough material for a second feature, so just stuck all the stuff
they cut out of the first into it to pad the running time out.

Also, they none-too-subtley ripped off a scene from a certain John
Carpenter film. Won't say which one, but you'll know it when you see it.
Me and my friend just turned to each other in disbeliif and said "Really"?

Yeah i saw it last night despite not liking part 1... the first hour was
okay, it was kinda more genuine in its weird silly shit somehow, but the
last two feckin hours was pretty painful. Suffered from the classic LOTR
ending of 'it's over... lets just spend half an hour saying goodbye to
all the characters' too. Also the digital de-aging of the child actors
was distracting and weird, and yeah the meta references to King material
was as subtle and fun as a kick in the balls, and that Carpenter
    'homage' was truely awful.
