I know this was discussed elsewhere, but here's my take.

Thought this was going to be another one of those neo-nigger horror
films, like "Get Out" and "Us".

Not the case at all, basically (without spoiling things), a group of
high school kids are befriended by a middle aged black woman, who agrees
to buy them booze provided they hang out at hers and drink in her
basement with her.

But things get out of hand, as some wish to abuse her hospitality and
there may be more than one ulterior motive for her wanting to befriend
these youngsters.

A seriously messed up film, which borders on "I Spit on Your Grave"
territory in places. However despite what happens, you cannot help but
feel more than a little sorry for her as more of her backstory is revealed.

One of my favourite films of the year so far. If only for the scene with
the whitewash brush....

Trailer made this look more interesting than expected. Unfortunately, it's already been bumped from theaters here, so I'll have to wait for home
video, which given the current window should be in about two weeks.
