    This must tick most of the boxes required for to be an alt.horror fave.

    Images: so many images
    Plot: makes no sense
    Soundtrack: Eurosynth
    Dialogue: some
    Eyeball Violence: yep
    Italian Director: Will Danish do?

    Not really my thing (except for the last 30 mins when it goes bonkers) but
    I can understand why lots of people love it. Never boring (except for the excruciatingly boring stretches) and strikingly original (naive country girl finds that life in LA is hard).

    I've read that it's hard to make characters stand out in an army film because everyone is wearing the same clothes and the same haircut - turns out I have the
    same problem in films about models. One beanpole blonde looks much the same as the next.
