I've been looking forward to this for ages as the film has become one of my all-time favourite comedies. I knew that it had a different cast but didn't realise it was Matt Berry* (always excellent) and the phonejacker bloke
(highly fuckable for a paki). I was a bit worried when I saw there was a
woman one, but she's actually very good. My only concern is the 'energy vampire' character who just isn't funny at all.

There are only two episodes out - so far it seems a bit of a re-tread of
the film and is quietly amusing rather than hilarious, but it has the same
look and silly tone which is what I love. No sign of the SWEARWOLVES yet,
but I remain hopeful.

*speaking of Matt Berry, I recently re-watched the MAN-TO-MAN WITH DEAN LEARNERs. Let's not forget how fucking brilliant these were.

Honestly it's only Matt Berry keeping me interested so far. I'd gladly
watch that man fill out a tax form. The rest of the show is so far very underwhelming.
