what an utter waste of space.
clearly calling it cannibal holocaust 2 is opportunism of the highest
order - there's no cannibalism of any sort.

it's more like a travelogue where we see a few badly dubbed italian
friends take off to the jungle in search of a missing professor.

during their 'adventures' not a lot happens. the upset locals who seem
to be about to kill them only for them to be set free.

there's also lots of pointless filler about the 'heroes' helping natives
    trap monkeys.
worth mentioning that here in the uk it only gets a 15 certificate.
there's thankfully no nasty animal killing yet at the same time there's
far too much manhandling of animals - dragging a clearly furious cheetah
out of a hole that they dumped it in the first place, snakes being
    grabbed, monkeys behind roughly treated.

add to that awful synthy music and you have something that's really not
worth wasting your time on at all.

eli roth's green inferno was better than that!

To be fair that's more a Amos N. type thing.

I would never deliberately harm a monkey's posterior. Nor anterior,
    for that matter.

I seem to recall the film "Amazonia : The Catherine Miles Story" was
also released as Cannibal Holocaust 2.

Caused a lot of confusion as I recall, as Deodato's "Cut and Run" was
also known as "Amazonia" and people were getting them mixed up.
