How come nobody's ever made a film about H.H. Holmes? (Or at least one
that I've heard of, before you smart-arses pile on)

Netflix could at least do a DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY series.

Let me just google that because they probably are.

    Oh, fuck off...

    https://www.indiewire.com/2019/02/the-devil-in-the-white-city-leonardo-dicaprio-martin-scorsese-hulu-series-1202043183/

Anyway WINCHESTER managed to make this mansion look as confusing and mysterious as a two-up two-down terrace in Barnsley. It's got one room that has a little stair spiral and one flight of stairs that ends in a ceiling and that's it.
Oh no, my poor sanity can barely cope with the non-Euclidean geometries.

Is this something like House of Leaves? Weren't they supposed to be making
a film of that? Sorry, I am trying to live without search engines, like in
    the olden days.

    Don't worry, it's just a 27 volume series he's working on. And he's
FUCKING ABOUT with the typesetting again.

    Also according to the WIKITARDS:

'Danielewski toured with his sister, Poe [which I initially thought was
a pretty cool name until I realised it's a fucking tellytubby], across
America to promote his book in conjunction with Poe's album Haunted,
which has many elements of House of Leaves.Poe's album actually features
Mark reading from House of Leaves on several tracks.'

Those cunts really need to get over themselves [nigelling the album].

Ha ha! Fuckwit. I'm not sure I'm going to live long enough to read 27

Important question: does Mark Z. D. really sounds like a Viennese psychiatrist or was he putting it on for the album?

    This from Poe's wikipedia page:

"Poe is a supporter of the David Lynch Foundation, a charity which teaches Transcendental Meditation to children in underprivileged school districts."

Happy enough with that as long as we get it sometime. Wonder how they'll

Watching the zombie apocalypse in KINGDOM made me think about how often we just get the hero waking up after its already happened and battling the aftermath.

I like to see the lead up to the apocalypse as we don't see it very
much. FEAR THE WALKING DEAD had a bit of that pre-doomsday narrative but
it didn't last long until the show was in full on end of days mode. The flashback scenes in THE LAST MAN ON EARTH of Vincent Price's character
dealing with the death of civilization as we know it made the film's
ending all the more hard hitting.

There's a bit in 28 DAYS LATER where someone describes the Rage virus
spreading through a crowded Paddington Station. That would have been
an amazing scene. Don't tell us, show us.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD completely flubbed the outbreak I reckon. Things
were clearly going to be fine and everything was under control so they had
to contrive a stadium full of zombies to demon ex machina.
