    Being in Blighty I got to enjoy the beeb's latest Christmas ghost story as
    God intended it - live-ish on iPlayer.

    Simon Callow's a national treasure etc etc but overall a bit disappointing, setting itself up to be a deconstruction of Jamesian tropes and then just parroting them.

    Some proper M. R. James stuff afterwards. A fairly crappy version of LOST HEARTS from 1973 and a much better ASH TREE from 1975.
