    well,
    that was rather strange.
nobody can accuse the makers of slavishly copying the original. I think
it will be long forgotten long before the original is although it was interesting after a fashion.
the early 'voodoo' death dancing scene was suitably nasty but the naked
dance scene towards the end with helena markos looking like a character
from little britain was utterly bizarre and not a success.

Did the bat try to unflush the toilet in an effort to get the banana back?

I know I've KICKED this one SQUARELY IN THE CUNT on a number of
occasions, but I wonder if it's one of those films that repays repeated viewings. Disappointing the first time, because of what it *isn't*; it
becomes something you warm to the second time when you can appreciate
what it *is*. Like THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE PART 2.

    there was no bat...

reading up on the film today i read that tilda swinton played 3 roles,
that might explain some confusion as i didnt realise that at all when watching it.

Christ, everybody knows THAT you daft cunt. FT gave it an interesting
write up, but I daren't watch it alone so I'll have to wait until the
    weekend again now.
