I saw it last July and thought it was boring. I preferred IN UN GIORNO

I've just noticed a horror comedy that I haven't heard of - MURDER PARTY.

Was about to post about this one myself. Starts off quite well, even
though it was a little reminiscent of 28 Days Later, or even the Dawn of
the Dead remake to begin with.

But then goes downhill as it apes the basic plot of "Last Man on Earth",
"Omega Man" and all those other sorts of films as we see this guy slowly
going crazy living on his own.

Nothing special, bit too slow for my liking.

It's an entertaining film with a bloody finale; well worth a watch.

I think I laughed twice - once at the beginning and once at the end. Dull
but inoffensive enough to keep my drunken half-attention.

England in the winter feels post-apocalyptic, all the sad cases stumbling round wrapped up in vain against the cold, just trying to survive. Feels like everybody
is waiting for some plucky teenager to shut-down the nuclear winter machine, or for a final cataclysm to put everybody out of their misery.

Of course go outside in Sydney at the moment and it feels like the nuclear warheads are mid-explosion. Is there anywhere that just has *nice* weather all year round?

If only the population size was post-apocalyptic. If only.

I vaguely recall reading once that the Canary Islands have the least variability in their weather of anywhere temperate.
