The one about the drugged family? I was going to give it a miss, but
maybe I'll watch it. I've got SICK FOR TOYS as my Christmas movie this
year, although it does sound very similar to THE LOVED ONES.

It's not as funny as it should be, but a fun KICK IN THE CUNT to the insincerity of the season.

I started watching HAPPY! on Netflix two nights ago - Brilliant stuff.
I'd been wanting to watch it for ages, but due to its Christmas theme,
waited.a
I wish I had saved it for Christmas Day. I planned to watch an episode
night, but have already gone through 7 of the 8 episodes.
Channel Zero - Butchers Block
Loved the first season of this (Candle Cove) but only made it through
the first couple of episodes of season 2. Thank god I finally gave this
one a try, absolutely brilliant. Don't ask me what the fuck it's about,
but it starts with the theme from Cannibal Holocaust and references just about every horror film you've ever seen, in a good way. Weird as fuck.

I bought the season one DVD set - I mistakenly thought it was a
anthology show with unconnected episodes. Oh well, I'll give it a go.
I'll try that new Black Mirror thing on Netflix tonight.

Just watched it. It's not brilliant.
It can be summed up as follows:
10 PRINT "CHOOSE YES OR NO"
20 INPUT A$
30 IF A$ = "NO" THEN GOTO 10

I initially thought the same as there seemed to be an "illusion of
choice" thing going on. Examples:
The first choice (cereal) - has no relevance or importance.
Colin's drug offer - If you decline, he spikes your drink anyway.
Medication - "Throw them away" or "Flush them down the toilet" - How is
that a choice?

If you choose the "wrong" answer, you're essentially just prompted to
back and "choose" again.
I did think at first that everyone would get the same ending no matter
what they did - I was a bit disappointed that this wasn't the case.
