His first book was published in 1980.

He wrote two novels about Chuck Norris, grim novels for teens (not always horror, per se), and short novelizations of Star Wars, Tron, and Star Trek III.
(Plus funny books for small kids.)

    (this categorizes his books)

Amazingly, given what most of his book titles are, he also wrote quite a good, sensitive juvenile biography of Abraham Lincoln in 1991 that indirectly and subtly answers questions that many modern kids might have - such as "why would a great man like
Lincoln have fought Native Americans" and "if he wasn't willing to go to war to
stop slavery, why would he go to war to preserve the Union?" (Answer: He really
had no choice, given the oath he took when he became president.)

Also, in 2015, he wrote a thriller for adults - "Garden of Regrets" - that takes place in the Middle East in 1989.

He's also known as Lawrence E. Weinberg; he's an attorney and playwright, and in 1997, he was living in Woodstock, NY.

But I can't seem to find ANY more biographical information on him...such as when he was born (likely before 1950, I'd guess), where he went to school, whether he has any children, or if he's alive!

What's strange is that the photo - if it's recent - doesn't match up with the fact that the youngest person with that name in Woodstock is...88 years old. Also, I found a Larry E. Weinberg in East Meadow, NY, who's 66, but he doesn't quite seem like the
lawyer type - and the Facebook page doesn't mention his being a writer either.

    Let me know.
