I remember publicising this one on my website when it came out many
moons ago, but never actually got round to watching it (or so I
thought), so as it was on Netflix thought I'd give it a go.

However, as it got going, I suddenly recognised certain scenes and
realised that I must have watched it at some point, but for the bloody
life of me couldn't remember how it ended, so decided to give another go.

Not bad, Halle Berry plays a psychiatrist, who wakes up to find herself
in one of the cells at the institution she works at having apparently
murdered her husband. But with no memory of what happened.

As the plot unfolds, things take a supernatural twist and it seems she
may well have killed her husband, but not exactly by her own hand and a
very dark secret is about to emerge.

    Charles S Dutton (Aliens 3) play's Berry's ill fated husband, whilst a
young looking Iron Man (IE Robert Downey Jr) turns up as a fellow Doctor
with genre regular John Carrol Lynch (American Horror Story) as the
Sheriff and Penelope Cruz as one of Berry's patients.

Quite enjoyed it, OK if you like generic 90s supernaturl films. Kind of reminded me of "The Changeling" (1980).

This piece of crap reminded you of all-time genre classic?!

I'd forgotten it was directed by Mathieu Kassovitz.
