I'm slightly obsessed with Donald Crowhust, so take this with a pinch
of salt, but this is the best ersatz-horror movie of the year so far.
If you saw the execrable, sanitised The Mercy, expunge it from your
thoughts - this one's much closer to show what's really fascinating
about "the strange last voyage".

It passed before a few projector bulbs with barely a mention, now it's
out on DVD and iTunes and worth your time - and it's one of those rare
times when it's better to know something of the story going in.

Had a great cinematic experience watching DEEP WATER in Sydney's open air cinema
- right next to the harbour and pissing down with rain. Felt very apropos.

I've started The Last Strange Voyage ebook. It's not something I'd usually
go for but you never know until you try it, I always say. Besides, I've
given up hope of sleeping this week and I can't watch House on the Edge of
the Park again. I forked out £6.99 for the cunt on Amazon video last night
to save myself the trouble of walking downstairs for one of the dvds!
That's BAD.
