Waters had shown a crowd the request (on paper) and announced his
response "with obvious relish". He then apparently stated:

"I only mention that because it's the insidious movement of them to take
over absolutely everything. So those of us who do have any power, and I
do have a little bit – in terms of the control of the publishing of my
songs I do, anyway – so I will not be a party to this bullshit, Zuckerberg."

My guess: he capitalizes on the "social bullying" you typically find in
a high school or junior high school, i.e. the "jocks" and "queen B's"
and their "approval" and "cancelling" power.

Oh, and creepy-stalker spying on EVERYTHING you do, and then SELLING
that information to the highest bidders. And advertising.
