    As of June 2020 Andrew Cuomo gave Abbott a 28,000 person lead in the
    count of dead from Covid. Abbott and his defenders told everyone that
    the didn't make Cuomo's mistakes and that they had this under control.

    Then, from June, 2020 - now:
    New York: 23,000 dead.
    Texas: 60,000 dead.

    As of today?

    Texas has 7,000 more dead than NY.

    Pretty amazing stuff, right there.
