The last time I looked or posted here was about 2013...I think it was because alt.guitar started taking on the characteristics of alt.guitar.amps. I see that's still happening but some familiar, positive names remain. One personality
conspicuous in its absence is Romeo Rose. Can I say that name here? Some years back I got de-posted & reprimanded on the TDPRI for merely including his name in
a list of Austinites...but then, TDPRI has developed its own kind of P.C. these days, it's starting to remind me a bit of my growing-up years in a Catholic schoolroom.

So what's the deal with ol' Larry Buzzby? The last Youtubes I found of him he seemed to be taking a round-the-USA tour, with stops at the Grand Canyon where he claimed to have jumped, sleeping under a bridge in Seattle where he was going
to kill himself at Cobain's house, and then standing in front of the Chicago Museum of Art surrounded by normal people who for some reason didn't recognize him. Judging from that itinerary it looked like he was headed back to West Virginia to make up with Silly Girl with a promise to drop the Romeo Rose schtick forever and learn a few Neil Diamond songs on guitar. I hope he did - the two of them seemed to be the perfect storm.

    he had made.

The last I saw of him, he had been on television after drawing controversy for advertising for a girlfriend with weight and, shall we say, race requirements.

I thought the original Silly Girl would never get back with him due to the fact that he gloated to her about stamping on her pet (cat or dog, I forget) and killing it. He found another Silly Girl to superficially match his tattoo.
The photo of her suggested she was a heroin addict (her eyes were pinned).

Wereo Scott passed away a number of years ago :(
