Looks like I got roped into playing a smallish family gathering this weekend. Cousins, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, etc. Should be fun? Looks like a diversified set list. Bad Brains, Dread Zeppelin, Hank Snow, Son House and whatever the
crowd yells for the loudest. We're faking this gig under the moniker of "Wall of Moms". Most of us have played music together since we were kids. If Aunt Billie ladles out her potent ayahuasca punch, I'm squeezing in David Allan Coe's, "Cum Stains On
The Pillow". Nothing like a gaggle of zoned and naked retirees stumbling around the mosh pit, while peaking on their cosmic journey. Goo goo g'joob!

    Be safe and be happy.

The gathering of the family tribe was a blast as usual. Lots of great food and
drink and truly amazing smoke and conversations. The music was all over the place. From covers of well-worn standards to quirky and often beautiful originals. Both old and
young had something to offer. Aunt Billie served up the liquid rainbows after the youngsters and lightweights called it an evening. Smooth thoughts constantly flowing into infinity. Cousin George brought along his new girlfriend, Rita. Guessing she
tipped the scales at 300 plus? She chimed in on "Sugaree" with a voice best described as Yoko Ono hooked up to a set of jumper cable nipple clips. Harsh, but spirited. Thanks Uncle Bob for the consistently fine pedal steel work. The Lindsey Sisters
were unbelievable with back-up vox and scat fills. I picked up on several interesting licks that I want to expand upon. Everyone was healthy and happy.
    Life is good!
