C.H.U.D. (blu-ray) - 1984 horror movie that taught the world about >Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. I'm not sure, but I think
I maybe haven't watched this since the 80s. The version on the blu-ray
was a longer restored cut of the movie, which supposedly is better than
the theatrical version. I recalled this movie being violent, and I also
had strong memories of the heroes going into the sewers with flame
throwers. My memories betrayed me. It's not that I ever recalled this
being a particular good movie, but I was bored out of my mind while
watching it. There was zero nostalgia factor in it for me. And while
there was a scene of the heroes going into the sewers with flame
throwers, I don't think they actually *used* the flame throwers to fight
any C.H.U.D.s. I think I must have been conflating this with a
different 80s movie that featured a guy using a flame thrower. I also
had a real hard time suspending my disbelief that humans could mutate to >C.H.U.D.s.

I bet a photo of "trotsky" in his parents' basement would convince you.

Every American should want President Trump and his administration to
handle the coronavirus epidemic effectively and successfully. Those who
seem eager to see the president fail and to call every administration
misstep a fiasco risk letting their partisanship blind them to the
demands not only of civic responsibility but of basic decency.
