It looks like the title of Joan Rivers� new book, �Diary of a
Mad Diva,� aptly describes the 81-year-old comedian.

Rivers told a cameraman in New York City last week that
President Obama is gay and Michelle Obama, the First Lady, is
actually no lady at all.

When asked by the cameraman whether the United States will elect
a gay or female president first, Rivers responded casually,
�Well, we already have it with Obama, so let�s just calm down.�

She then followed up, �You know Michelle is a tranny.�

�I�m sorry, she�s a what?� the cameraman asked.

�A transgender,� Rivers clarified. �We all know.�

It appears Rivers, a liberal herself, has become a bit unhinged
� or �mad,� as she might say. To make matters worse for the
comedian, she showcased her �diva� side during a CNN interview
that aired Saturday by storming out because she didn�t like the
host�s line of questioning.

CNN anchor Fredricka Whitfield called Rivers out for being a
hypocrite because she is pictured wearing fur on her book cover
but claims to be an animal rights activist. Rivers told her to
�shut up� and angrily left the interview.

Earlier on in the segment, Rivers defended her scathing humor,
saying it�s not �mean� but that she always tells �the truth.�
Perhaps Barack and Michelle would have a different take on that.
