g - grace note - ornament - extra note(s) played at the same time as,
or just before the main note, then immediately released
h - hammer-on
mf - mezzo forte - moderately loud
p - (below the tab) piano - soft, quietly
p - (between the notes) pull-off
poco - a little (poco rall. - a little slower)
pp - pianissimo - very soft
rasg. - rasgueado - the strings are strummed with the back of the fingernails rall. - rallentando - slowing down (often becoming gradually softer)
sfz - sforzando - strongly accented, suddenly louder
t - (above the tab) tenuto - the note is held for at least its full length
or a little longer - played firmly - stressed, slightly accented tempo - speed - (a tempo - return to the original/earlier speed)
Tamb. - Tambour - the strings are played all at once by hitting them near the
bridge with a flat part of the hand (usually with the side of the
outstretched thumb)
c1 - part barre on the 1ast fret
C1 - barre on the 1st fret
c2 - part barre on the 2nd fret
C2 - barre on the 2nd fret
