• Any newcomers to this news group...

    Just found this newsgroup?

You might be disturbed by the number of apparent
advertisements currently being posted here. I just
delete them in Thunderbird asap. Thunderbird lets
you subscribe to any of the tens of thousands of
newsgroups and download the posts to your computer
or other device. Then you can simply delete the
postings that are off topic. Thunderbird is
a piece of Free Open Source Software which originated
in the Mozilla project, It handles mail as
well as newsgroups. It is easy to set up and
can replace whatever piece of expensive software
closed source software for reading mail and news-
groups that your Windows came with with.

If you have questions about drugs be sure to
ask the people here who in the past had experience
with several sorts of drugs, legal, illegal or
    ignored by the various legislatures.

This group is plagued by DEA or whatever
enforcement agents attempting to sell drugs unrelated
to the newsgroups purpose. If you must attempt
to reply to them tell them:

"Sorry Officer, we cannot help you."

These days I simply delete any post attempting to sell
anything, so sorry, Officer neither I nor Rasta Robert nor Joel
can help you with that. We have a few other members who read
the postings but only reply when they find something of interest
or when some imbecile tries to troll...

I agree, this is my very first Usenet post using Thunderbird on my new
Linux installation, and it's pretty good for text groups.

I sure hope people aren't trying to order these supposed substances ...

If you don't mind a text/CLI-interface, slrn is a very fine newsreader
for Linux, especially its score (kill)file capabilities, score -9999 will effectively cause matching messages to not show up in message listings.

I ended up fixing the problem that prevented me from running
Windows 10, and am back on Forte Agent for this NG, but I was very
pleased with Linux while I used it.

That may be nice but learning it at my time of life might keep
me from reading a manga or other book of interest as often as I care
    to do so.

I am not sure about Windows 10 but all previous versions
of Windows have been able to use Thunderbird which is more secure.
As for the always colorful Microsoft program launcher it reports
back to Microsoft nearly everything you do. Linux does not
do that which in many people estimates is sufficient reason to
adhere to the Free Open Source Software movement lead by Linux.

Yeah, you can run Thunderbird on Windows 10, but I have a paid license
for the newest Forte Agent version, which I prefer for both text and
    binary groups under Windows.

Greetings Mr. Sellers and everyone past and present who are still here, this
is my first reply/post to this group in like 10 years and I use Thunderbird
to supplement my e-mails plus I use one of those pieces of expensive closed source software newsreaders with Giganews for Usenet which makes life easier when downloading and assembling those large binary files such as some of my favorite TV programs I can no longer watch since "cutting the cord" plus of course porn.

This reply is also a test to see if I messed up something. Should mention I don't mess with those nasty morning glory seeds anymore and Sally D long
since now illegal in Missouri and never much liked it anyway nor did I ever fall in love with 2C-I. I WANT ACID

Anyways,,, great to see you all again!!

    Dave
