### - this is really sooo funny i just have to share it ahaha :)))
i.e., so there i am fiddlin' about in the youtube machine etc, coz that's
wot's happin' just now...
and... it's all about these 'views' see?
'views' being people who see the advert and watch it for more than
30-seconds instead of clicking away from it...
the worst case scenario for someone on a low budget being that of a high percent of views that doesn't convert into sales!
100% views meaning: every fucker who saw it all watched it past the
30-seconds mark and/or clicked on it... zero% being that of everyone
seeing some of it but not clicking on it or watching longer than 30
seconds, in which case it could literally run all day & night 24/7/365 and never cost a dime!
which is actually what am aiming for hehe...
thus all the fiddling-about currently revolves around all the tiny tweaks required to produce as many 'impressions' as possible but with the lowest view-rate! zero% being optimum (costs nada)
so anyway, when it started with the first + longer ad, nearly every fucker
was watching it lol; it was TOO good! (perfect if you were doin' a tv ad
say, but not good on youtube if'n you want people to only watch the first 30-seconds of it or less)
to this end i altered the ad itself, shortening it and making it less
engaging etc, to the point that the current version (haha) fades to a
totally blank screen after 23 seconds thus giving the viewer at least 7
seconds (of totally blank screen haha) to click away from it, right?
and although the 'view-rate' has indeed come down from near 60% to only
22%, that still means that a whole fifth of the viewing public are staring
at that blank screen for more than 7 seconds?? the whole thing is only 35-seconds long and yet the average viewing time for that third is 34
seconds! LOL !
the fuck why????? ahaha!
are they perhaps waiting for summat to happen? are they hypnotised maybe??
lol wtf!!! :))
errr, duh? the screens jus' gone all blank??? wot's wrong with my shit!
ohh nooo it's broken? ohhh fuuuck!
and then: oh it's alright again! cool :)))
i mean, what have i gots to DO ffs to MAKE 'em click AWAY from it before
the 30-seconds is up??
so been thinking about that haha...
a totally blank screen for 40 seconds would prolly do it lol :)))
although from what have seen so far haha even 'then' there'd probably be
'some' views? (crackin' up laffing)
will just have to try it innit lol... not quite a totally blank screen of course, am sure they wouldn't allow that haha... but maybe just 35 seconds

The New Way
To Lucid Dream!
couple images of the book
for example... and that's it! 40 seconds worth!
how long before they clicked away from THAT??
still more than 30-seconds? lol
and then there's still more 'internal' tweaks (to the program) that can be
made as well...
do people on their mobile phone typically ignore the ads for example and
just let them all play-out? or the opposite of that! coz youtube can
discern between computers and phones + tablets and even people's TV's!
only one way to find out i suppose... try them all one at a time and see?
it's like drivin' a truck with 50 levers & dials and 45 gears!
coz it allows ya to be very specific!
could for example, pick mobiles only, english-speaking dudes between 18
and 24, already looking at something about (or searching for) lucid
dreaming, who can only view it once but see it many times, in the usa, on
a wednesday at 3am in the morning! lol! and/or just about any other
combination you can think of hah!
remember, am trying to get as many showings (impressions) of the ad seen
as poss, versus the lowest rate of actual views, right? the lower the
view% (of over 30 seconds) being the less ya have to pay...
22% being the best/lowest so far have managed...
the question now being: how low can it go! ;)
it's becoming a super-challenge haha
