### - lol maybe i got that wrong and today is instead the first day of
the
defense??
thought they said they had one more day...
cool :)
I think Christopher and most of the other citizens of the US are tired
of all this rigmarole. We have Aboriginal deaths in custody here all
the time - very racist situation with the police and never properly
fixed.
### - lol you're fucking kidding me right?
i.e., so ok let's just sweep the whole goddamn mess under the carpet
and/or not even mention it because 'chris' (or anybody else come to that) 'might' feel uncomfortable?? LOL !
no! and because imho & observation this case is incredibly important, not
only to and for the people directly involved, but for the whole world
depending on the outcome!
a highly 'public' case the whole world is currently watching & following!
this involves 'everyone' thang not just chris :)
On the other hand, I have a relative undergoing tribulations
in our court system right now, she is a victim of a vicious crime and
I can tell you the coppers (Detectives) who arrested, prosecuted and
are now being called as witnesses in the trial are worth their weight
in gold. So much empathy it's unbelievable.
And I typically do not like police...
### - look, in a democracy the police are public servants! and are thus accountable for their actions, actions determined by law and the society
that formulates/creates those laws! they are thus a reflection OF society!
i.e., we either live in a democracy in which ALL men are equal, or we
dont??
there is no middle ground here! no grey area allowed in this!
our problems as a society being that we don't always adhere to this understanding of everyone being equal, we make excuses and thus create
these grey areas - effectively exceptions to the rule - in which it ends
up looking like some people are actually then more equal than others!?
e.g., one rule for the rich and another altogether for the poor!
and THAT my friend is bs! :)
that ALL this, including this case in particular, is merely the tip of the proverbial iceberg!
one that's been continually overlooked and/or deliberately swept under the carpet simply in order to allow a very certain condition of inequality to conveniently persist!
but this isn't just about race and racism (which literally 'is' only the
tip of that whole iceberg, the bit that's currently showing 'above' the surface) but about inequality generally in all our societies as a whole!
the point being that: we either ignore all this and just carry on
'allowing' inequality in all its forms to persist and thus remain stuck
there forever, or, we actually address the situation at some point and
thus genuinely advance our society by genuinely doing away with inequality forever, and move the fuck on!
poor chris??? LOL ! i actually have more sympathy/empathy for george floyd
than i do for mr chips (no offence chris haha but you didn't get murdered
by some unsympathetic and uncaring, not to mention completely indifferent
and probably sadistic cop, and still have your life to live, ok? there's a
lot of genuine suffering going down out there buddy and you feeling 'uncomfortable' because of the subject matter + your lack of objectivity
in it, just doesn't count for shit in comparison to what happened to GF
and what his family are still going though...)
as for you thang, you only have to examine australia's own history to gain incredible insights into what is actually a global condition & situation,
AND world problem too!
one that's actually very similar to south africa and what 'they' went
through!
they resolved their problem, however, and indeed moved on (at least on
paper anyway lol) whereas we (the rest of the planet still suffering from
the same shit) still has yet to do so! bit OUR time for this is NOW!
that in that sense, and being the first to do so, south africa is thus
actually now like a blueprint of how things are likely to go lest we too
suffer the same threatened consequences they faced and had to deal
with/resolve lest 'everything' they had, and were, would have come to an untimely end!
meanwhile lol, the defence in this case has just ushered in a retired
white ex-south african expert in pathology to say why it wasn't the white
cop's fault at all?? (lol what a coincidence! probably because they
couldn't get anyone else!)
for example, now they're suggesting he was a bit too close to the exhaust
of the squad car and that's why he died?? geez...
the idea being to get at least 'one' member of the jury to have enough
doubt not to convict even though we all saw that fucker kneel on someone's
neck for 9.5 minutes until he died right in front of our eyes and the eyes
of the whole world!
fuck me haha, they'll look back on all this one day ya know with the
benefit of 20/20 hindsight and it's gonna be very damning indeed, we'll
all be seen for the hypocritical, cowardly, and lying little shits we
are/were, and there's just no escaping this!
fuck chris, you, or anyone else feeling uncomfortable haha, am personally totally embarrassed to even be 'related' to this bunch of fuckin' dumbass monkeys on this planet that 'call' themselves human and humane?? so
doesn't that count for something too? (really laffing coz apparently not)
i feel uncomfortable too albeit for completely different but for also very equal reasons lol...
(what a crappy fucked up world it still is eh folks :)))
