Note Hilarious Clinton gloating at this poor bugger (wink) being
    sodomised and murdered.

This is just why - don't expect Kim to give up his nukes anytime soon.
Another home goal by the USA...

Those "musings by Shahidul Alam" neglect to say how recent sanctions
against North Korea were voted on in the UN and passed *unanimously*.
Russia and China, which each have veto power, both supported them too.

It isn't just the US that wants North Korea to give up their nukes.
    The vote was 15-0.

Similarly, UN sanctions on Libya back in 1992 and 1993 were adopted unanimously. Again in 2011, the UN Security Council voted first to
support sanctions and then military action against Libya unanimously.
Russia and China abstained, but again, did not veto.

But facts are facts. Regardless of bureaucratic paper shuffling,
votes and all that - as soon as Gaddafi gave up his nuclear ambitions
he ended up on the scrapheap. Saddam too, and look what a mess the ME
has turned into since he was hung.

Votes by little guys are "influenced" by votes by the big guys. You
know this, little fish have big fish which eat em, and so on ad
    infinitum.

Kim is a rational actor. He sees what happens when dictatorships are
rendered defenceless. He hasn't let that happen. Now he has nukes.
It's a different ball game. He won't attack anyone unless he feels he
is about to be attacked - but isn't that the same with Russia, China, Pakistant, India, Israel and so on? They will attack first if they
think they are about to be attacked.

Best thing is to accept DPRK as being nuclear armed, part of the club,
and don't make them think they are about to be attacked or surrounded.

    That's how we avoid WW3.
