so slider i hit a home run last night.
Finally, after forever here, i got a
dream clearly presented to me.
I was soaking my ass in the hot tub
around 7:00 PM last night. Very relaxed,
just sitting in a tub of 97 degrees hot
water. AND THEN it came. I was dreaming
but i was NOT asleep. HOLY son of a bitch.
I definitely was not asleep as i was in that
water. I saw clearly (just like a regular dream)
of an airplane flying, a small craft soaring
through the air. Then i came to very quickly.
Fucking A! That's what we've been talking
about. That's it. It is possible to dream
while still being awake. Very strange place,
half way relaxed, half way awake. I just guess
i finally was relaxed enought to move into the
dream. Boy you got to be really really relaxed
to do this. Maybe this is what it took for me
to get a 'taste' of WILD. Wowzers. This is
very interesting. A little scary doing it in
water but at least i got a quick taste of it.
Not bad for a slow learner eh? lol! :)
### - (laffing...) this is definitely proof-of-concept for you :)
yes, we can dream 'without' having to fall asleep! (wtf IS that?!?)
'ordinary' dreams then being us doing same, albeit in our sleep?
dilds then being like a stepping-stone ('another' proof of concept that
it's actually possible to also be 'awake' in what we've formerly only been 'calling' dreams?)
WILDS being the 'actual' (unrealised) ability we have, of which the other
2 are but only the poor man-versions of ('because' less voluntary...)
now here's the thing... imho you were actually only 'mildly' relaxed (not deeply) and hit the right spot this time accidentally (relaxing in the
bath big deal, who doesn't/can't do that??)
the point being: to 'deliberately' relax (as say using the suggested
simple technique) is what 'really' make all the difference, in that:
'accident' is thus 'removed' from the equation altogether! and in so doing (which really doesn't take much practice to perfect, a week tops for the absolute beginner) brings more 'awareness' into the whole thing... next
thing ya know you can step right into an incredibly lucid state 'without' having to first fall asleep; just as you've done!
little practice quickly brings its own rewards, and before ya know it you
can virtually (pun intended heh) turn it all on and off at will!
(basically, ya get used to it fairly rapidly and then fear & doubt turn
into sheer unending curiosity when ya realise/understand it's not
harmful... very cool actually heh...)
thing now is... all you really have to do NOW is practice deliberately + consciously relaxing as a means to reach that same place (in awareness)
where all this becomes possible... you've done it all backwards hahaha
(trust you heh) but who cares as long as you reach?
something which, apparently, is as simple & as easy for you as taking a
bath! (smiles/winks...)
iow: make it (WILD) happen quite deliberately only a couple of times, and suddenly you'll be an expert already; proving it to 'yourself' being everything! :)
plus it's NOT that your slow or anything imho, it's only that you wont
(for some damn reason) make much of a deliberate/concerted 'enough'
attempt to actually establish the ability?
12 days is the current record for a complete newbie starting out and
proving to themselves it can be done heh, so really all YOU have to do now
is learn to 'consciously' reach a lite-state of relaxation... (you know
you're there/in the zone when your body feels just a little
strange/inflated or floating sensation or something, once there ya change
to hypnagogia hunting and waiting, and that's it! get to see some clear
images, examine them for detail and ya get pulled/zoomed-in quite
dramatically at first, but which later turns to almost instant effortless transitions after only a few times...)
try it! (ffs TRY it! haha) meaning; do it 'on purpose' coz that's what
makes all the difference! you already KNOW you can do it (several times by now...) you just haven't *deliberately* done it yet?
so c'mon, don't be lazy! (slider kicking you up the ass a bit here +
laffing:)
20 mins of consciously trying to relax is more than enough... (i'd avoid
the bath in case ya slip down when dreaming and drown yourself? lol :)))
anyway, and if nothing else, you've just proved to yourself that you DON'T actually need to wait till BEDTIME to do lucid dreaming?? (and that's
actually very cool: lucid dreaming no longer limited to bedtime & sleep!?
- which is quite interesting actually, plus kinda changes everything...)
