Democracy is the adjective and Republic the noun it modifies.

A Democratic Republic translates to "A mob who follows rules."

A democracy is a mob with no rules, no history, no vision,
waiting to catch fire and scorch the earth for no reason
other than extreme boredom and lack of purpose.
