    ### - still walking that tightrope boss!

just never look down? haha :)

great play btw ('Saturday night & sunday morning') if you ever get a
chance to catch it, the writer taking his manuscript to 17 different
publishers at the time before one of them saw/recognised its potential
value? i mean, who the fuck (they all said) wants to watch a story about
some average ahole working in a boring factory all week, and who's only
gots the weekend to live life for himself?

that after a whole week of meaningless slog, peeps get paid on a friday
and all they wanna do is get blind drunk and maybe have a shag, and then
their 'real' life (the one for themselves) consists of going out on
saturday night and then spending all day sunday recovering from it, before
it's all back to the daily grind again on monday?

a cool observation by the writer of the lives people lead and/or are
    rather: forced to lead!

(a dull, boring, crappy life, that everyone just mindlessly accepts
    without question really huh...)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJAeb0wiQjA

and is thus really quite thought-provoking once ya start looking at things 'from' that pov ;)

also starring a very young albert finny...

    ### - if you like him, and while we're all still stuck indoors, here he is
at the other end of the age-scale starring in dennis potters' final 2
plays called 'karaoke' & 'Cold Lazarus' - potter was actually dying at
this point and given only 3 months to live, his doctor keeping him going
long enough to complete them while living on liquid morphine for the
crippling pain he was in, his dying request being for the bbc & channel 4
to make the 2 plays (both in 4 parts), which they did, and the rest is history...

in the first play we gots finney coming to the end of his writer-life (as dennis potter was in real life) and in the second it's 400 years later in
the future where scientists have got hold of this frozen head which
they're pumping for its memories of the past because things have changed
so much, a frozen head that turns out to be finney from the first play
haha, and who actually starts to become fully conscious during the
    procedure!

    Cold Lazarus part-1 to 4

side note: tim leary was looking into cryonisation before he died, but eventually decided against it because, he said, he didn't fancy waking up
in maybe 200 years time surrounded by a bunch of scientists in white coats
    & clipboards haha :)

son of a bitch oil dropped down $12.14 a barrel
    that's .22 cents a gallon or about 5 cents a quart.
that there be some very cheap oil. how low will it
go before world war 3 breaks out?

London stocks were set to tumble at the open on Tuesday as oil prices fell below zero.

The FTSE 100 was called to open 102 points lower at 5,710.

    https://www.sharecast.com/news/market-report-pre-open/london-pre-open-stocks-to-slide-as-oil-prices-fall-below-zero--7436994.html

CMC Markets analyst David Madden said: "The unbelievable moves in the WTI dominated the headlines yesterday. The WTI futures contract for May
delivery lost over 100% of its value and entered negative territory. The
market set a record for trading below zero - which essentially means oil producers would pay to get rid of the energy.

"Stepping back from the ludicrous headlines, the WTI May futures contract expires today, and recently it has become a lot less traded than the
contract for June delivery. The WTI June contract is a better
representation of the underlying oil market. The contract in question lost approximately 18% of its value and settled above $20.00 per barrel. Once
the May contract has expired, things are likely to settle down in terms of monumental price swings.

"The rout in the oil market can be attributed to both demand and supply
woes. Demand for oil is tipped to fall considerably on account of the coronavirus crisis. Last week OPEC predicted that demand for its oil in
the second quarter will tumble to a 30-year low. Not too long ago, OPEC+ announced a historic output cut, but already there is a view in the market
that it won’t be enough to offset the slump in demand.

    ### - they'll pay 'us' to take the oil away??

ok dammit, gimmie a few 100 barrels and i'll sell it back later haha :)))
