This video shows the moment a monkey appears to be flying a Kite in India
as millions of people stay indoors to contain the coronavirus spread.
The monkey sits on the roof of a white building and pulls the string of
the kite in until he catches it.

It was shared on Facebook by Akansha2706. Indian Forest Services officer Susanta Nanda, in Odisha, also shared the video on Twitter on April 16.
He said: 'Evolution happening fast due to lockdown.
'Monkey flying a kite. Yes it's a monkey for sure.'
One Twitter user attributed the monkey's new skills to lockdown. They
said: 'It's seeing a learning. Due to presence of many people it just was
not able to practice its acquired skills.

'Lockdown has just given him some precious time to do so.'
People watching the monkey cheer as he brings the kite closer and closer
and eventually catches it.
A second Twitter user said: 'Superb video! In all probability, it might
have caught hold of a cut string and pulling it in, but definitely a rare catch!'
Another said: 'The monkey just got hold of a string of a kite that was cut
off during some kite fight, that's it.'
Someone else pointed out that although it might have grabbed a cut off
string, it was still clever that it knew how to do so.

said: 'But that just a monkey, how does that fellow know what to do with
that string to get the kite down and that too very proficiently.'
Others said the monkey was flying a kite better than they ever could and
that they couldn't imagine a monkey flying a kite.
### - later, a small group of similar monkeys were seen sitting in a
deserted bar drinking fruit juices and smoking cigars? haha - j/k :)))
added note: years ago someone i knew went to india and stayed at some
hotel overlooking a troop of these monkeys, one of whom he saw picking up still-lit cigarette butts in the street and smoking them, my friend being
a compassionate sort heh, rolled a nice joint, lit it, and tossed it down
to this same monkey dude below his balcony, whereon he said he quickly
picked it it, smelled it for good a few moments to make sure kinda thing,
and then walked over to a tree and sat down in the shade below it and
slowly smoked it all lol :)))
