New pictures have shown the scale of work going on to transform London's
ExCel Centre into a temporary coronavirus hospital.
Progress is well underway after the military were drafted in to turn the
70,000 capacity convention centre into a 4,000 bed hospital named
'Nightingale Hospital London'.
The huge space will be transformed into two wards, each able to treat 2000 patients.
At first 500 beds with ventilators and oxygen will be used to treat the seriously ill.
The work is being carried out by NHS staff along with engineers from the British Army.
