The BHA’s move follows a revision to the government’s plan to combat coronavirus on Monday, which included recommending the avoidance of social contact and the withdrawal of medical support from mass gatherings. Two race meetings scheduled for Taunton and Wetherby on Tuesday afternoon will go ahead as planned with no spectators present, and with private
    ambulances to provide medical support.

“This is a national emergency the like of which most of us have never seen

before,” Nick Rust, the chief executive of the British Horseracing Authority, said on Tuesday. “We’re a sport that is proud of its
    connection
to rural communities and to the local businesses that support our
industry. But our first duty is to the health of the public, our customers and to racing industry participants and staff, so we have decided to suspend racing following the government’s latest advice.”

    ### - what? no uk horse racing until further fucking notice??

wtf! ok that's it, am taking this personally now haha :)))

    this is war! ;)

Kentucky Derby is our iconic race and they cancelled it a week ago.
Me thinks online casinos are seeing a surge in customers right about now.

    ### - still no horsies in the uk until further notice duh... how boring!

still some running in the states though! :)

and gots 2 winners & a place yesterday at tampa bay (not enough for a
return as needs as at least 3 winners on these type bets to pay)

    Matty's Express @ 11/4

    &

Yabba Dabba Dude (haha just liked the name?) @ 5/2

the 3 better priced ones just not making it haha...

so am going for your golden-gate track today (sounds nice innit heh:
    golden gate)

with 5 picks in one of my usual accumulators, no fixed/advance prices
given here until the last hour with US racing duh, will thus just have to
go with the sp (don't like that as sp prices continually change, usually
down, right up until the off? whereas with the fixed prices you get paid @
that rate and/or above even if it drops out completely in sp-terms! online
bets here guaranteeing the highest odds paid even if those prices go out!
e.g., back summat at 10/1 and it crosses the line @ 3/1 you still get it @ 10/1! - if it finishes @ 16/1 instead you get paid @ 16/1! and that's
    pretty cool)

whereas backing them @ sp-rates is really only any good if the prices are
all low to start with, odds-on favourites often climbing into positive
numbers by the end of a race, which is fine if you're backing them online because of those guarantees, but is hopeless when it comes to US racing
online wherein they don't offer any advanced prices until just before the off...

oh well, it's only a cheap bet (about $1.50 starting with 4 winners) so
    fingers crossed lol :)))
