Peeloser should start praying about her own party
(they do need a prayer) and forget about praying
'for' Trump. If prayer worked you wouldn't need
to prey.
### - sounds like you're well & truly on team-trump now then huh?
shall i tell ya a relevant story? (chris rolls his eyes: lol here we go...)
not summat you'll ever hear in grade school or even at university btw
unless you're right up there doing some kinda advanced degree, so not at
all a common story; and it's about jean paul sartre and his
cohort/side-kick albert camus, who both worked very closely together on a project to bring an illuminating new philosophy to the planet called 'existentialism' plus, more pertinently: what later happened to them (as friends) explaining why they eventually parted company and never spoke
again...
i mean, here we have an example of probably 2 of 'the' brightest modern
sparks to have possibly ever lived! total intellectuals! and as such total left-wingers because of that! (i.e., all the really 'smart' dudes go to
the left rather than the right) camus even winning a Nobel prize for literature! (and they really don't give that shit away for just anything
right? so both of 'em were really 'up-there')
so anyway, here they were, both extremely highly intelligent +
intellectual peeps (the best on the planet!) totally understanding the
'plight' of humanity and its history! so much so; they gots together and
tried to actually save our ass! and this by attempting to
consolidate/distill all of mankind's knowledge into a condensed/abridged
form called 'existentialism' (a term which comes from the root: to exist)
which hopefully then spelled it all out in black and white so that
'everyone' could get hold of it and thus advance + change the world...
together they covered the whole range of humanity from the purely
intellectual down to the man in the street, with scholarly-type papers for
the purely academic types who required everything in that more formal
format before they could even look at it, to novels and stories that
embodied all their ideas & working concepts as direct working examples of
their philosophy in action and in more practical/experiential terms for everyone else...
and yes they actually did ALL that! (whew) a vast undertaking! the two of
them, one would think, inseparable friends forever because of it?
only that wasn't the case, eventually...
i.e., at one point, however, albert camus, who was of algerian decent,
felt he had to 'take up the gun' when he heard that a lady friend of his, someone he apparently knew & cared for, had been captured & tortured in
the algerian war that was going on at the time, he feeling 'compelled' to
go and fight when he heard of his lady friend having being tortured by
having red hot needles stuck into her nipples!?
sartre said to him that he couldn't possibly go and 'fight' in such a
manner, as it undermined everything they thought & fought for to bring knowledge & wisdom to the rest of the world! that for lefties such as themselves physically fighting and/or such 'violence' is impossible! camus totally agreed in principle but in practice he just couldn't let it go
and, as such, and directly because of that, he and sartre never spoke
again...
(it wasn't that sartre wouldn't/couldn't fight at all, because just as
soon as the nazi's invaded france, for example, he disappeared down the
sewers and started printing and distributing copies of anti-nazi
propaganda, the 'way' he fought back was: intellectually! but not by
pulling any triggers and killing people! something which was totally unthinkable to his way of thinking!)
and not a lot of people know that story ;)
camus eventually being run over and killed at only age 47 (by pure
accident of course! riiight...) while many of sartres' books were still
banned in the uk until the late 60's due to being deemed 'too
controversial' for public consumption heh ;)
and the moral of the story?
don't lean to the right whatever ya do for any reason...
'coz all it ultimately does it to promote... violence & unrest!
see?
