A chilling new graphic has revealed the devastating reach of an
“atmospheric burst” that could be released from a hypothetical nuclear explosion over the Pacific Ocean.
The simulation of a “radio-isotope cloud” spreading for two weeks across the ocean towards Asia and the US was released on the Twitter account of Lassina Zerbo, the head of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation, a group tasked with monitoring weapons tests.

It offers no supporting data, including the yield or altitude of the theoretical bomb, or the threat that the cloud would pose to human health.
Mr Zerbo later clarified that it was “simply a rough simulation of [a] potential cloud that could carry isotopes!” that had been created in
response to inquiries.
Last Friday, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho responded to US
President Donald Trump’s threat at the United Nations to destroy the rogue regime that Pyongyang may take action, up to and including the “powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific.”
Hydrogen bombs are thermonuclear weapons more powerful than ordinary fission-based atomic bombs.
Experts agree that the blast, fire and radiation generated from a hydrogen
bomb explosion over the Pacific could have devastating consequences.
Some fear electromagnetic pulses could bring down nearby planes, while
others point to the immediate destruction of marine life, and the long
term impact on humans in the surrounding area.
North Korea has already conducted six underground nuclear tests at the Punggye-ri site in the country’s northeast.
The latest, on September 3, was considered to be its most powerful to
date, and was estimated by monitoring groups to be 16 times the size of
the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima in 1945.
### - 'implicit' in the above article (that no one dares mention...) is
the clearly terrific + likely permanent damage caused to 'everything' on
planet earth from all those previous atmospheric tests 'before' they were banned??
e.g. (and in light of the above graphic these numbers are devastating!):
As of 1993, worldwide, 520 atmospheric nuclear explosions (including 8 underwater) have been conducted with a total yield of 545 megaton (Mt):
217 Mt from fission and 328 Mt from fusion
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nuclear_weapons_tests
consequently; we are the planet that glows in the dark!
we've totally irradiated our own planet with man-made artificial
isotopes!?!
and then we wonder why cancer has gone through the proverbial roof???
to the point now that 'one in two' of us WILL get cancer in our own lifetimes!?!
this revised up very recently from only one in three, iow: it was always
one in two but they've only just recently admitted to it... so in all likelihood it's probably even worse than that!
the truth being... even IF ding-dong lets one off in the atmosphere, it
likely wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to the damage that's ALREADY been done!
and we only have ourselves to blame!
cunts...
