really like this one as it goes, and actually meant to upload it first
ahead of the main tutorial from which it's been taken, the way it went
didn't realise till it had actually completely uploaded what had done
(d'oh! haha + cue mad scramble at that point to change the published description lol) but after a 10-hour upload (yes that's right folks;
10-hours!) and the prospect of yet another 7 hours delay for this one,
just went ahead and published it anyhoo...

had thought to publish this one first and the one with instruction
afterwards, would have been nicer that way? but obviously, one cannot
argue with the gods of zen (or possibly just the onset of mad cow disease
haha) in these matters heh, so thought it best just to continue on the

for a big company here in the county. i guess i'm
gonna show her these videos and see how long it would
have taken her to make them. Remember this is what

tried my hand at a couple of youtube pop-vids 10 years ago, they were

i just did my best as a total amateur using a totally ad-hoc style (= i
ain't gots one otherwise lol)

the whole thing is, accordingly, just pure... Zen! :)

and whether it works or not i can't say, but some peeps seems to like them
so far anyway, a couple even claiming it helped them get a WILD, so who
knows, it just felt like they had to be made as audio-visual aids for
people who prefer pictures to text ;)

a book of alternate bedtime stories perhaps? :)

even so, to most peeps this is gonna be brand new as am promoting this one first over its sister, this being one you can just enjoy rather than
having to think about/figuring (i.e., it 'imparts' knowledge without
explaining anything so one learns directly by example etc; monkey see
monkey do)

even so, this is still (i think) the first complete lucid dream/WILD
simulation of its kind, everything else on youtube are only snatches of
bits & suggestions rather than demonstrating a whole session (didn't ya
like the alarm clock bit at the end? heh...)

i think most peeps will see it and it'll inspire them to maybe try and/or
find out more about it without necessarily being aware of the rest of the course it's part of, it kinda stands on its own in that sense and may be,
in some instances, the first thing someone ever knows/encounters about the whole subject...

whether that works or not only time will tell heh, but it's kinda cute and
even a little trippy, and may thus attract attention to the subject + then
they gots moi system as their starter for 10 ;)

as for making videos haha, yeah am gettin' into it hehe, it was all a
total muddle at first, loads of buttons & didn't know what they did,
clicking every damn thing lol, now however, there's a workflow & a process
and it all seems a lot easier & faster + no one could be more pleased than
moi about that hah; i'd signed up in my mind for a year's tour of duty
with all this but it's turning out far better than expected; 6 videos now
in only 7 weeks ain't bad! sure the first one took 3-weeks lol, but it's gettin' easier now :)

i.e., there's a total of 9 planned (11 now including the 2 bonus ones)
with room for maybe 4 or 5 extra supplemental episodes re associated +
perhaps more complex/advanced subjects (might as well cover all the bases
then innit huh...)

and then i can rest :)))

personally, methinks WILDs transcends any such limitations, that anyone
who can 'fall-asleep' can thus also WILD like a sob if they want to, only insomniacs might have any natural problems because they've somehow lost
their unconscious ability to fall asleep, something which is likely caused
by losing their unconscious ability to see those hypangogia, whereas otoh, maybe said insomniacs might regain control over their lack of sleeping by learning to more deliberately deal with the hypnagogia, it might even
repair their unconscious ability too; i.e., when you learn to WILD you automatically learn to choose between sleep and lucid dreaming as a matter
of course; to dream or not to dream, that is the question for WILDers;)

wish i'd learned about WILDing when i was young, oh boy that would have so cool, and would have likely lived a very different life altogether had
that been the case...

called: VSDC, it's functioning free software with the option to upgrade to
pro for about $20 (serials are available on youtube tho...) pro only
allows you to use a graphics card (if you have one) for hardware
acceleration at render time + has a slightly better micro-pixel resolution
& allows live voice-overs (i much prefer using audacity anyway & syncing
it all up afterwards)

it's not perfect & slightly buggy but you get used to it + would defo work
a lot faster at rendering time with some kinda graphics card instead of on-board graphics, but it works pretty good on such a low-resource lappy +
the output quality is very high (up to 3D & 4000k) plus even with no card
it still only took 50 minutes to render/produce a 3.6gig output file in
HD-720! (that same file then took 10 hours to upload to youtube lol)

well recommended actually + defo saved my proverbial ass money-wise (no
setup costs whatsoever)

has a 3 to 4-week learning curve from scratch (produced my first vid in 3
weeks for example, 2nd one in 12 days, 3rd in 10 days in which it produced
2 vids for the price of one, last one took only a week)

works similarly to flash with 'nested-layers' so you can design a quite
complex scene and turn it all into what they call a 'sprite' which then
appears on the timeline as a single bar containing all that editing (one
bar is easier to work with than a screen full of complex tweaks) the end
result being a combination of such bars/sprites to put in whatever order
etc etc...

reminds of early music/dj software where you can import any tracks, cut &
slice them up and turn into loops & then mix to your own liking, only it
does all this with hd video too...

not bad :)
