natural man facing the modern (wally)world which has no room left for

the old detective understood/figured it out ("for 2-cents i'd call the

and yes, the very sad story of a vanishing world and its rapidly vanishing values

### - bowie was the real deal, a genuine artiste, and as such was quite
capable of moving peeps imho...

ok, then try this one for size amigo (an old b/w movie)

actually quite an important one, the story goes its script did the circuit
in hollywood and although everyone liked it no one wanted to direct it
because it obviously wasn't gonna be a box-office smash even starring kirk douglas! so it was gonna be binned and forgotten about... and then frank sinatra got to hear of it, read the script and loved it and considered it
to be an important story, so much so he financed it himself to the tune of
half a million even knowing it was bound to make a loss!
