Perth by Air Asia with extra leg room and meals is $900 AUD. Hotel accommodation for 10 nights is around $1300 AUD. Not expensive in my
books pal, but then again I work and so does my missus (neither of us
could imagine NOT working) so why not spend a few $$$?

With you it ain't bragging mate, it's just telling you what you're
missing by sitting in your sitter or whatever they call it doing fuck
all with your life - why the fuck don't you just drive or pedal
through the tunnel and go to Barcelona and look at all that
magnificent architecture, or up to Catalonia, or the Riviera, or just
keep driving and spend a few months on the road. Brexit hasn't
destroyed that capability yet.

I think I've got a life. Firstly, I've got a wife mate and we are
stil in love over 40 years after we met. We are joined at the hip.
Then, I've got two daughters who both adore me and vikky versa - and
they both have children, one of whom is now almost 6' tall with his
first beard and moe coming on. In fact, there are 7 grandchildren
scattered around the place most of whom greet me with "Hi pop" even
though I don't feel like a pop.

Jeez, as soon as we came home one of the boys came off his skateboard
and fractured his skull. He's out of hospital now, recuperating, no
long lasting brain damage and atrocious lacerations, he's very
athletic (middle grandson) - first thing he said when I saw him was
"Hi pop". Almost brought tears to my eyes.

I reckon I've got a life, in so many ways and in so many dimensions.
