### - cool, the 'portuguese' translation of the book showed-up over night, making that the first other language to appear, the spanish version only about 10-days away too according to the young lady doing that particular translation... and italian is due in late may...
a site called 'bablecube' being responsible for the portuguese & italian versions, wherein you put your book on there and various translators from
all over the planet look at it and decide if they'd maybe like to do a translation in whatever language suits them, the royalties from said translated versions being split 50/50 between author & translator, with bablecube getting the publishing and ditribution rights in that language, both for a period of not more than 5-years, after which the full rights return to the author who then also fully owns the translated version too...
good eh? :)
have tried to do a similar thing with an 'audio' version offering similar cut-deals to bablecube, only no one as yet has responded, perhaps because
the book's not erm, cough-cough, famous enough yet(?) to warrant the
gamble on someone's part hehehe...
so then... any chinese and/or japanese translators out there maybe fancy trying their hand at earning a few bucks for a period of 5-years? the
chinese manderine market alone could be very lucrative indeed considering it's currently the largest spoken language on the planet! spanish
following along next... (english being about 4th?)
current sales (in english heh) now approaching 300 copies! selling on
average about 14 per month...
