it was only a 4-horse race so had a good chance of winning...
as it is, it still counts as a (non-paying) win in my accumulator, so in
that sense it did win!
all it needs now is another 2-wins (in a 5-horse accumulator) to go with
it to get a payday treble...
or if 3 of them win it goes towards a 4-fold-er
ditto 4 wins = a 5-horse accumulator...
have had some great paydays including non-runners
the best of which was 1 actual winner @ 11/2 and 6 non-runners (meeting abandoned gave 6 non-runners hah) in a 7-horse accumulator! although they
were early days and generally i don't do them anymore as it's just too expensive to cover so many multiple/combination bets (= 120 bets if ya
cover them all)
the other 4 are all outsiders too, the lowest of which pays 8/1 so we'll
see...
on another note have sold 3 books today, one of them to india of all
places!
have rarely sold 3 books in a single day so been quite a good day really + there's still 8 hours to go...
am going for the record here boss!
