Very conspicuous his falsely informing FBI of the plot the day before.
Also the speech at Ford's funeral saying there was "Delusional lone gunman."

how about the secret service guy in the car
behind JFK ? That bullet that smashed his
head didn't come from the Lee Harvey rifle.
gots to be two guns used in this hit.
Evidently (ha ha) the motor car stepped up
its pace and the agent accidently pulled
the trigger and (very luckly) fired the
rifle into JFK's cabeza. Some spot on
shootin' I'd say. i guess he felt lucky.
Son of a bitch what a tragedy.

Yeah, they were all playing fast and loose.
Kennedy's big mistake as the son of a mobster
was appointing RFK as attorney general.
To the other mob families that was a bridge to far.
If Nixon thought the election was rigged he should
have contested it. So that was the conspirators excuse
    "Saving Constitutional Government"
Nixon, Bush, Kennedy, Johnson; they were all clown car drivers.
Victims of cause and effect and rolled over by history.
From the 40,000 foot overhead perspective, its a damn silly bit of business.

    ### - that, or they decided 'not' to play along with mob influence being
in the highest office in the land and to in fact oppose them, and it's
this that got them killed for rescinding on the deal their father struck
to swing the vote in kennady's favour (i dunno if daddy was a mobster per
se and not just a wealthy billionaire with many connections, including
some mobsters whom he apparently paid to help rig the vote (in florida was
it?) and in return for later favours if/when required...)

    ### - and was obviously pretty embarrassing for politics generally, hence
it all being deliberately swept under the carpet and kept there like it
    just never happened...

and of course doesn't happen any more! billionaires no longer being able
to 'buy' their way into the white house! (oop's!) :D hahaha
