Very apt to post this here. Why? Because the main proponent of this
place, who has now departed (and who knows, might be dead), was for
much of his life a believer in warlocks, wizards, shamans, ghosts,
spirit worlds and so on - all without a fucking SHRED of evidence.

pretended to be an avid logician, a person whose very existence was
founded and based on rationality and reason.

If I am shown or find evidence there is zero obligation
to share said evidence or try to convince anyone it exists.
In the reality filters I use all is knowable and obtainable.(If need be)
If I tried to explain my fixation with "Paradise Lost" I met get blamed.
Or be laughed at for believing there is more to reality than five senses.
In higher dimensional thought a fixation is a cautionary or promotional form.
I didn't know what "Paradise Lost" meant but I recorded it to decode later.
I took the slings and arrows, and if I was this tribes seer I would have avoided the coming disaster while my tribe members would be "tested by fire." Or maybe a subtle stain would have lead us to take the long way round.

I listen to the small voice, I call Mr. Eight.
Right now he is repeating several "no messages now" signals.
"Wanna play a game." ie: "all clear"
"Joke em if they can't take a fuck."
"LMNOP - Last Message No Origin Point."

Everybody reacts to trajedy differently.

You forgot "human decency". Brian has no idea of human decency. It's
part of our evolutionary development as members of a tribe where each
is part of the whole in order to make the naked ape as durable as the
other contemporaneous life forms (try pleistocene saber tooth cats and
wooly rhinoceri...)

He has been wounded by life and by those close to him and he chooses
to take this out on humanity at large. That's what's called a "cop
out" but he will never see it.
