The Times of Israel:
A senior Iranian security official is threatening Israel with harsh “reactions” if the Jewish state “continues to attack” Iranian and government forces in Syria.
The semi-official Fars news agency quotes Ali Shamkhani, of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, as saying that in case of further airstrikes, Israel
“will face reactions that would cause sorrow and penitence.”
Earlier in September, Israel attacked the airport in the Syrian capital, Damascus, with missiles that are believed to have targeted arms depots there of
the Iranian forces and or the Lebanese terror Hezbollah group — both allies of Syrian President
Bashar Assad’s troops in the civil war.
Iran has maintained that its forces in Syria are in advisory role to the Syrian
army in its war on Islamic State jihadists and armed opposition groups.

### - it's a forgone conclusion israel will continue to do so, their avowed intent being to stop iran setting-up bases in syria... however, iran is now drawing a line in the sand (well, it is nearly all desert out there innit heh...) and could
undoubtedly unleash hell on israel if not preempted in a sudden attack... israel would, of course, respond massively backed to the hilt by the west, and then iran would be no more!
and then it would all just end right there wouldn't it! wouldn't it?
riiiiiight... :D
