i think (if i was there) i would bet his horses today.
but it's just fantasy to follow how he would do.
tomorrow is the last day of the meeting at Del Mar
till November.
### - it's not fantasy to study jocky form (even jockys can be
on-form/off-form too) + there's usually a related top-ten chart/index for
just about everything involved, trainers the lot...
can bet online is even easier coz there's nothing to write out just clicks (william hills is good/reliable) and includes other race-courses besides
only del mar to choose from...
accumulate anything really for low stakes can be fun, say: a horse, a
football match, a baseball outcome, even if it snows on xmas day in london haha, pick 4, 5 or 6 different/separate events and accumulate 'em hah...
and depending on their odds bet accordingly (lower overall odds requires slightly higher stakes etc) and then sit back and see what, if anything, happens over 1 day, several days or even weeks...
it's a fun hobby alright if ya sticks to pennies, but to actually
'increase' one's chances beyond the purely random ya have to have 'some'
kinda strategy to fall back on besides just using a pin ;)
you could, for example, from those form-charts pick the top jocky's best
ride today, the top trainer's best outing today, the top tipster's
best-tipped horse... and now you've already gots 3 good selections + only
1 (or 2) more from somewhere else and you've got a serious accumulator to
play with! - stick to that example/formula every time, for instance, and onetime it's bound to all come together on the same day? thus it's then
like playing a one armed bandit, in that every now & again ya gets a line-up/win from either 2, 3, 4, or even 5 or 6 bar jackpots
occasionally...
the prolonged practice of which apparently leads to the development of a
kinda 6th sense about what's more 'likely' to win and what just ain't ever gonna feckin' win today in a million goddamn years haha...
