Nice one. Really funny! But I wonder if he even got the joke.
A cool song, too.
The first few posts in this thread were a headscratcher.
Trying to comprehend 'a schizophrenic' is perhaps a bit like

I really don't know about the more 'advanced' claims, UFOs, etc.
LowRider:
"A death is an apex event.
Murder is the most serious of crimes."
Just human murders though, right? Chickens, cows, ants, trees,
fish - pretty much any species besides [humans, cats, and dogs]
and who really cares? (Not even humans if it's 'sanctioned'
as with cops and wars, eh?) There's something weird about that.
In general, are we really so special? Maybe just to ourselves.
ALL vertebrates here including us evolved from FISH, but the
inventors of the gods love to play god and imagine themselves
to be very, very important. But are we?
I don't know. I see that it is necessary to imagine that we are.
The only way I can conceive to have a real way to know is...
to explore a much larger percentage of the universe than we have.
That's just one of the reasons it is so very important to do so.
Even then the answer might not be completely clear.
Not sure.
Based on everything I know, I feel like it's best NOT to imagine
that I am important, and indeed I'm pretty sure that I am not.
And yet I freely choose to commit to abide by rules of law and
conscience whenever possible and to treat other human lives
as if they matter a great deal.
Fortunately, most of us have
evolved to passionately believe this, but our ability to question
it is also evolving. Not sure what will happen. :)
Somehow, I feel it is vital that we collectively learn to see
the world from a pov beyond our own selfishness and self-importance.

The first car in these ads, the 1955 Chevy, was the car my dad
bought new in '54 and kept through my childhood. When I turned 16,
it became my car. Mine was solid green with green upholstery. It had
a V-8, but no power-steering, power-brakes, or air-conditioning.
All I changed was to put in an 8-track stereo (3 times, actually,
since two got ripped off). I drove that car all through high school
and then my brother got it after me, but he totaled it in 1975.
It looked like this but without white-wall tires:

A semi-positive outcome.

Sure you can.

That entire angst-ridden bog can be avoided by adopting policies
that treat all humans humanely and give each person an opportunity
to maximize his/her own abilities. The even better step:
treat the entire earth and every living thing on it that way.
Google and Facebook are private companies who can set their own
policies. So is Amazon (I have a problem with Amazon). While I agree
that they can and are becoming authoritarian forces of a sort,
it's also the case that no one is forced to use or support them.
And it's not their problem the worst fake news sites are mostly
conservative. Or that our president is himself the worst fake news
purveyor of them all. Sheesh. He's hysterical half the time. :)
As is much of that stuff you posted. To me, it seems to be the
very thing you claim to be against: "emotional intoxication".
