He spells it 'Aherne', thang. Said he's from South London.
And he even posted here using his real name for awhile in 1998.

He's probably the one in Brixton.

But I'm curious, thang. Why do you think it's so important to know
all about him when you won't reveal similar info on yourself?

Personally, I find it strange how protective people are on the net.
When I grew up, people were listed in the local phone book with
full name, address and phone number, and it wasn't any big deal,
    since most people did.

I've revealed tons of personal info on the net without having a problem.

    since most people did.

I've revealed tons of personal info on the net without having a problem.

I've always valued my privacy and anonymity except for my forays into
the business world which at the top level required publication of
papers (yep, on taxation and accounting) and articles and interviews
and so on in papers, on TV and radio.

Those days are behind me and thankfully so because I no longer have
that drive - because I don't need the drive anymore, I'm where I want
    to be financially.

So, in the days of the Snowden disclosures, the Five Eyes spying, the Orwell-esque secret eavesdropping on our phone conversations, our net conversations, our internet lives and the so called social networking,
I opt for privacy and anonymity simply because I can and I know how
    to.

There are many like us. You may not come across them often but we
exist and we take our situational awareness seriously. We are at core libertarians. Not antifa-type libertarians but true libertarians,
those who really believe in the freedom to be anonymous and private
adn the freedom to be truly free.

In the days of snail mail, no one had the right to open your envelope
and read your mail before you got it. However, nowadays, it's a given
that your emails, your phone calls, your SMS texting, your position
vis a vis GPS and mobile phone tower traingulation, are all available
to god knows what shadowy organisations (your NSA and other TLA's for
instance) by law - especially in the US and more so in the UK, and
    here in Austrlalia.

I'm awake and aware. I have nothing to hide but that doesn't mean I
want to give away my privacy and anonymity to the "authorities". So,
Dave, you'll find nothing about me on the net. Nada. Everything you
find about me on the net or the interwebs is like Kaiser Soze - a
    dream, a formless formulation, a spectre, a non-entity.

You only have my words and that's the way I like it :)

    I haven't done that. I'm a shadow lol

You on the other hand have connections to RL which you have sprayed
over the net. If you can be found, and I want to find you, I will.

I'm way to busy at the moment. I'm also wondering if it's necessary.
I think the only thing I'll do when I get back is find the time to
read your "book". Being a perfectionist, I expect my critique to be
extensive. If I'm pleasantly surprised, I'll be asking why your
postings here are such garbage when you're capable of writing
    coherently in your book.

I'll let you know. In the meantime, smarten up shirley, read the shit
you post and the offhanded way you treat people and try to improve.
Otherwise, I won't waste my time on you.
